Approximately 2.5–5g of Temtro Dry Gel is added to water. The Temtro Dry Gel, when added to water, expands and turns into a gel within minutes. You can always adjust the amount of dry gel to achieve the desired consistency.
Q2: Does the SGP Additive make the gel packs more flexible or longer-lasting?
While frozen, the SGP additive will make the ice pack flexible, which is ideal for shipping delicate items as well as for use as a hot/cold compress.
Q3: How much dye is needed per batch of gel?
Only a very small amount of dye is needed, generally between 0.1% and 0.5% by weight of the gel. Adjust it according to how strong a color you want.
