How fast can I start producing after receiving the machine?
Within one hour. Connect a garden hose to any water supply, plug into a standard 110V outlet, fill the hopper with Dry Gel Crystals, and you’re making gel packs. No installation, no technician, no training required.
How much does it actually cost to make each gel pack?
Between 8 and 10 cents per pack using TEMTRO™ Dry Gel — that includes the gel and the poly bag. Compare that to $1.50–$4.00+ per pack from a retail or wholesale supplier. On 2,000 packs a day, that’s a cost difference of thousands of dollars — every single day.
What's the difference between the Standard and Premium models?
The Standard model produces a full range of standard gel ice packs in multiple sizes and weights — ideal for food service, shipping, and cooling applications. The Premium model does everything the Standard does, plus it lets you add custom color to your gel packs, produce flexible gel ice packs, make therapeutic hot/cold compresses, and make hot gel packs. If you’re in medical, chiropractic, sports, or branded resale markets — you want the Premium.
How much space does this system require?
It fits on a standard 4-foot table. You don’t need a warehouse, a production room, or any special facility setup. A backroom, prep area, or corner of your office works fine.
What size gel packs can I make?
Bag widths range from 5″ to 11″ with the included sealer. Need wider packs? 18″ and 24″ sealers are available at an additional cost. Weight ranges from 6 oz up to 4 lbs per fill cycle — larger packs can be made by running multiple fill cycles on the same bag.
How many gel packs can one person produce per day?
A single operator can produce up to 200 packs per hour. On a standard 8-hour shift, that’s up to 1,600 packs — many customers regularly produce 1,500 to 2,000+ one-pound packs per day.
Do I need any special plumbing or electrical setup?
No. The machine connects to any standard water supply via a regular garden hose and plugs into a standard 110V household or commercial outlet. A 220V converter is available if needed.
What happens after I buy — are there ongoing discounts?
Yes. Every TEMTRO™ system purchase unlocks volume-based discounts on future Dry Gel orders. The more you produce, the lower your cost per pack gets. It’s a compounding advantage that keeps growing with your business.
Is this system right for resale, or just internal use?
Both. Many TEMTRO™ customers use the system purely to eliminate their own supply costs. Others build entire product lines — branded gel packs, therapeutic compresses, private-label medical products — and sell them wholesale or retail. The Premium model is particularly well-suited for resale because it produces multiple product types and supports custom colors.
